having had some bad
experiences whilst learning to drive i stopped for a long time. i
had no faith in the driving instructors. a friend insisted i go with
jim. reluctantly and nervously i phoned and explained my driving
history and problems with the less than professional instructors.
they were creepy and made me feel uncomfortable. he took the time to
have a long chat , he inspired me. i learned more in a couple of
hours with him than all the rest put together, he's so clever and
has a way of inspiring you . passed my test first time . jim you
have no idea how grateful i am to you for restoring my faith.

Jim is an absolute legend!
I'm still learning to drive with him and have been for a few months,
I've found a few things really hard to pick up but Jim's patience
and positive attitude had kept my confidence up all the way through.
He's not just a driving instructor, (not meaning to sound cheesy),
but he's also like a friend, always chatty and jokey and I look
forward to every lesson! I would recommend him to anyone at any

I had Jim for 4 excellent
months of teaching and looked forward to every lesson! He explained
everything patiently and fairly and nothing every seemed boring or
tedious. What can I say, I passed first time and its all thanks to

I had been driving for 3
months when i had to change instructors, a friend recommended Jim
and so I started lessons. Jim was the best instructor I could have
had, he never made you feel bad, even when you made loads of
mistakes and got into bad situations, he would always stay calm and
let you get your confidence back. I moved my test once, but when i
took it a passed, all because of Jim's great teaching! I would
definately recommend him to any of my friends looking for an

When i first started
learning to drive i wanted to do it as quickly as possible, when my
first instructor cancelled some of my lessons i sought advice from a
friend for a new instructor who would be reliable. This is how
i found Jim, he started from scratch and taught me so much. I passed
my test recently. Thank you Jim for all your help,

I haven't driven for ten
years as i was a very nervous driver, so i was a beginner when i
started with Jim, his confidence in me and his ability to calm as
well as teach, has led me to pass my test first time round only 5
months after i started. I would recommend him to anyone, he is
professional, kind, funny and completely restored my confidence in
myself.

Sorry it's taken me so long to write this, I have
been very busy since you passed me first time round!
I had to change instructors because my old one wasn't teaching me
the right and correct way to drive. I was recommended Jim by one of
my friends and that is one of the best things she did for me.
Jim you are an ace driving instructor, I didn't think I would be
able to pass first time but you helped me make it happen!!

say.. i had 2 previous driving instructors, and none of them brought
my confidence up.. not even a little bit. then Dot recommended you
to me, and you brought my confidence up. your calm whenever i did

I've had other driving instructors before and they were all
rubbish!!! But you made it fun to learn how to drive.
And you even put up with all my funny 5 minutes, when you would say
take the next right and i would dart off to the left! And if you can
get me to pass my test then thats really saying some thing.

Passed first time with Jim
in just over 5 months and only 3 minors! Couldn't of asked for a
better instructor.
Would recommend to anyone. He makes lessons really enjoyable and has

What can I say?! Jim
couldn't have been better! After struggling with 2 other instructors
I had a recommendation and went to Jim... he taught me brilliantly-
I actually understood how to drive rather than just pressing pedals
when told to/ trying my hardest not to crash!
Jim is patient, helpful, professional and yet fun and friendly too!
I looked forward to every lesson with him and his hard work paid
off- I passed my driving test with 3 minors yesterday!

Basically, I was a terrible
driver, I did not know how the car was going to react each time with
me.
Jim is a great laugh, and he is great at building up my confidence
and most of all, he is the best person to teach anyone how to drive,
not just how to pass a test.
It has taken me a while to learn how to drive but through that time,
Jim's patients has stood the test of time, especially reminding me
which was my left and right. But at the end of the day, he has put
all his effort into watching me progress and soon, to watch me
succeed.
All the reviews on his page are excellent, and I think that says it
all really. i wouldn't recommend anybody else for the job. Thank-you
